Stance and Grip

Front site on target, rear sight framing the front sight.  Not seeing the top of the gun

Strong hand

Strong hand knuckles lined up under trigger guard.  Gun as far into the had as possible.

Off hand

With an open hand, point thumb at the target.  Lock your wrist at a 45 degree angle.  Raise your strong side thumb.  Place your thumb on the frome of the gun (between the trigger guard and the slide.  Wrap your fingers around the strong sides hand and place the heel of the thumb against the grip.  Lower the strong side thumb over the off side thumb.

Stance

Shoulder width apart.  Lean forward at the waist.  Slight bend at the knee.

Sight Picture

Look at the target and bring the gun up to what you are looking at.  The front sight should be on the target with the rear sight lined up framing the front sight.

Trigger press

press the trigger with the pad of your trigger finger
