With an open hand, fingers pointing down, point your thumb at the target, locking your wrist at a 45 degree angle. Raise your strong side thumb. With your off hand, place your thumb on the frame of the gun (between the trigger guard and the slide. Wrap your fingers around the strong side hand and place the heel of the thumb against the grip. Lower the strong side thumb over the off side thumb.
Shoulder width apart. Lean forward at the waist. Slight bend at the knee. and ankle.
Look at the target and bring the gun up to what you are looking at. The front sight should be on the target with the rear sight lined up framing the front sight.
Maintain your sight picture. Don't jerk the trigger, instead press the trigger with the pad of your trigger finger.
